Fred Messersmith is the owner and chief instructor at South Bay Martial Arts. He is an internationally certified Moo Duk Kwan 7th Dan and master level instructor (Sa Bom) in the art of Soo Bahk Do. He operates a certified studio in Torrance California and serves Kwan Jang Nim H.C. Hwang and the U.S. Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation as a Guardian of the art (Hu Kyun In).
